How does Mid Stay parking work?
Say goodbye to stressful planning and parking, and follow these 4 simple steps:
Book in advance: Make sure to pre-book to guarantee your space, especially during busy periods.
Park up: On the day just drive up. Our ANPR system will recognise your vehicle’s number plate and open the barrier (no tickets required). Choose a space, park up, and lock your vehicle.
Walk to your terminal: No need for a shuttle bus. East Midlands Airport Mid Stay car parks are just a 5–7 minutes walk to the terminal.
When you return: Find your vehicle right where you left it. The barrier will recognise your number plate again when you leave, and you can just drive away.

Exit the M1 or A42 onto the A453.
Follow the road until you reach the main entrance to the airport.
Turn right into the airport.
At the roundabout take your first exit.
At the second and third roundabout, go straight on.
The entrance to Mid Stay 1 will be on your right.

Exit the M1 or A42 onto the A453.
Follow the road until you reach the main entrance to the airport.
Turn right into the airport.
