There are many accessible airport parking options located next to our terminals, as well as Blue Badge spaces.

Blue Badge parking is available at all three parking options below. Short Stay 1 and Mid Stay 3 both have bays that can be easily found. These car parks can only be accessed by walking to/from the terminal, but wheelchairs are available if needed. Simply head over to one of the help points in the car park. You can find more information on each of the car parks below.

Our most popular and accessible parking option at East Midlands Airport – Meet & Greet is easy, convenient, and gets you to the terminal in minutes. A full parking service, all you need to do is pull into a parking bay, drop your keys at reception, and one of our Meet & Greet drivers will take your car to an official and highly secure on-site car park while you’re away.

Your airport experience may begin with parking, but there are lots of other ways we can support your travel experience.

We’re here to provide as much or as little assistance as you may need, from getting to the terminal from the car park, to boarding your flight. If you require assistance, you'll need to arrange this with your airline (at least 48 hours before you travel). Your airline or travel agent will pass all of your information to the Assisted Travel Team, so that everything runs smoothly for you on the day.

If you’re travelling with a mobility aid, it will also need to be pre-booked with your airline. This just gives our staff an idea of its dimensions and weight, so that there are no delays when loading it onto the plane.

And if you need to carry liquid medication (this must be accompanied with a medical note or prescription) in your hand luggage, simply let the officer know at the x-ray load area. They can then screen it through special equipment.
